Frequently Asked Questions

To avoid disappointment, please read the following before booking.

  • How do I book an appointment?
You can book with me by: (1) booking from here: (2)Email me with the following info: • your name • your tattoo idea • approximate size (in cm) • your body placement choice and a photo with the area circled • some reference photos of the works you like Please include all information in the email as these are essential for me to determine if I'm the right artist for you, and to give you quotes and dates.
  • What is your availability?
I am currently booking for 2025. I work weekdays and Saturdays. Please tell me your preferred days of the week, and I'll find the earliest time for us. If you have specific dates in mind, please let me know and I'll try my best to accommodate. Please note my Saturdays get booked very quickly so please be flexible - this will increase your chance of securing an appointment with me. Last minute appointment? Email me with the date and I'll see what I can do.
  • Where are you based?
I'm tattooing from my lovely private studio in Eden Terrace, Auckland, New Zealand.
  • How much does it cost?
I charge a set price which guarantees my full attention and freedom of time for application. Each design is priced based on size, overall complexity and body placement. If your project is chosen, you'll receive a quote prior to committing to the tattoo.
  • Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit is 50% of the full cost of the tattoo. If your project is chosen, you'll be provided a quote with details to pay a deposit. Deposits pay towards the full price of your tattoo and are non-refundable.
  • Can I book multiple tattoos for one session?
Yes, you can. Multiple tattoos for one sitting will be cheaper than booking individual appointments as it saves set-up materials. You only need to submit one booking request but make sure to clearly specify the tattoo ideas and relevant details. Make sure to submit as many reference photos as possible with at least one picture for each idea. I may ask for more references later during email consultation.
  • Do I need to come for in-person consultation?
In-person consultation is not necessary as we will do our consultation online by emails. You'll have the chance to express your ideas, provide feedbacks and ask questions. However, if you would like to meet in person to discuss any details, please let me know and we can sort it out for you.
  • What if I change my mind?
Once we agree on the details of the tattoo, changes to the design may not be possible or incur additional charge. Please be specific when submitting your request. I will provide a written summary of your request, and this will be my guide when designing for you. Please review the tattoo summary and the quote thoroughly before putting down the deposit. Always only go ahead with booking if you're 100% sure and happy.
  • Can I reschedule?
Yes, you may change once by giving notice by email, at least 7 days prior to your appointment. Shorter notice or further rescheduling will result in losing your deposit. Before booking, please check your work and holiday arrangements as you will need to avoid some activities for 2-3 weeks after the appointment(such as swimming, sun exposure).
  • What kind of reference photos do I send?
Reference photos is a great tool to communicate your ideas visually. You'll need to upload reference photos for: (1) Your body placement A picture showing where you'd like the tattoo on your body. Please circle the area you'd like the tattoo to be. This helps me design and give you an accurate quote. (2) Concept/subject 3-5 references photos of your tattoo concept/subject. If it is a flash design you want to book, you can just send me the screenshot of the flash design here. (3) Style reference At least 2 photos my previous work as style reference. See my Instagram for inspiration.
  • When will I hear back from you?
It might take up to 2 weeks for me to get back to you. I will be in contact by email. Please check your inbox + junk/spam folder for a reply. Please note that submitting a request is your expression of interest and doesn't guarantee an appointment with me. Tattooing is a creative process and I want to deliver my 100% to you. I also need to limit the amount of projects I take on in order to guarantee the quality of my work. For the above reasons, I may not be able to accept your requests. Thank you for your understanding!
  • What designs do you tattoo?
I work in two ways: flash(pre-drawn) designs and custom designs. Flash designs can be viewed here. Custom designs are based on your concept. When submitting a custom request, please keep in mind that I'll only take on projects that are within my style. You can check out my instagram for my previous work. I do not replicate an existing tattoo or design.
  • When can I see the design?
For flash/pre-drawn designs, you'll be able to view before submitting your request. They are available here on my flashback page . Simply attach a screenshot of the design you want as your reference. For custom request, a written summary will be delivered prior to deposit. The design will only be shown on appointment day for best results.
  • Do you tattoo colours?
No, sorry. I only work with black and grey inks. To avoid confusion, any requests for "black and white tattoos" will not be accepted.
  • Do you do cover-ups or rework existing tattoos?
I'm open for scar coverup projects. Due to different techniques and styles, I will not do cover-ups or rework existing tattoos done by other artists. However, in some cases my work can be suitable - please send in more information and we can discuss further.
  • What body placements do you tattoo?
I tattoo most body parts. Some body parts such as ribcage/sternum or hand/fingers, need to be discussed as this vary from case to case. For hand and fingers tattoos, please note frequent touchups might be needed. I DO NOT tattoo face, neck, feet or private areas.
  • What's your tattoo care advice?
You can read full prep and care information here: If you have any questions, you can email me or ask me in person when we meet for your appointment.
  • Are your inks vegan?
Yes, all my inks and ointments used in my tattoo process are vegan.
